Rajini’s words create ripples in political circles

Superstar Rajinikanth’s talk about politics during a meeting with his fans in Chennai on Monday has made his fans happy, besides creating ripples in political circles.

While DMK working president M K Stalin, union minister Pon Radhakrishnan and VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan among others welcomed his entry into politics, PMK leader Anbumani Ramadoss said the actor has been saying so for the past 20 years.

“God decides what we have to do in life. Right now, he wants me to be an actor and I am fulfilling my responsibility. If God wills it, I will enter politics tomorrow,” he said.

The ‘thalaivar’ added: “If I enter politics, I will be very truthful and will not work with people who are in this to make money.”

“I did a mistake by supporting a political alliance 21 years ago. It was a political accident. Since then, politicians have misused my name on several occasions. But I have to clarify, I’m not joining any party,” he said

“Take care of your family and children. Don’t waste your life by smoking and drinking. Drinking and smoking not only affects your health but also your decision making ability. I have been affected enough so please take my advice seriously,” the top actor said.
