Vijay Sethupathi flick to make waves in ‘Habitat’

After winning accolades in Indian and international film festivals already, Vijay Sethupathi’s production venture ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ has now been selected for Habitat Film Festival in Delhi.

The film,  directed by debutant Lenin Bharathi, will be screened at the Stein Auditorium on May 27 at 4:30 pm.

Already, ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ was played at three Indian film festivals and recently had a very successful international premiere at the New York Indian Film Festival.

The film features newcomers in the lead and has music by

maestro Ilaiyaraaja. The movie was selected as one among 18 films for 21st International Film Festival of Kerala.

It was already selected for the Best cinematography award at Bioscope Global Film Festival, Punjab. The story is believed to be a landscape based one, high on emotions.
