Kamal attacks Aamir Khan, backs Rajini

While coming to the support of his good friend Rajinikanth who is being criticised for his non-Tamil background, Kamal Haasan has hit out at Aamir Khan on Friday.

He was speaking at the trailer launch of the Tamil version of Bigg Boss, which marks his television debut, when reporters asked him why he chose to host Bigg Boss over a show like Satyamev Jayate (anchored by Aamir) where socially relevant topics are brought to the fore.

To this, Kamal’s reply was: “I have been more socially responsible for long than the person who hosted ‘Satyamev Jayate.”

Asked about the criticism on Rajini, he said, “Anyone who feels like a Tamil is a Tamil. In my place, Subash Chandra Bose is loved by Tamils.”

“Politics shouldn’t be about making money. At the same time, they should be paid well. Looking at the political situation, it seems like no rational person should come to politics,” he added.
