Allu Arjun’s director reaches out to agitators

Recently, members from the Brahmin community expressed their opposition to ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, the upcoming film of Allu Arjun.

They were against the use of a line Nammakam Chammakam from the track Asmaika Yoga…Thasmaika Boga in the movie.

The agitators said they are planning to approach the Chief Ministers of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, the film’s director Harish Shankar met the protesters and reportedly agreed to cut those lines from the song.

In the trailer, a Brahmin youngster named Duvvada Jagannadham takes on the evil forces of the society. He believes in violence. “Buddham Saranam Gacchami is not valid in today’s times; Yuddham Saranam Gacchami should be the mantra now,” he says.
