The making of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’, directed by Shankar, has entered its next phase.
Sources have it that editor Anthony has completed the initial cut of the film and A R Rahman is expected to commence the re-recording work later this week.
“Since the film has bee shot in 3D technology, Rahman and his team members will have to wear special glasses while doing re-recording,” sources said.
Since the post-production works are taking time, the release of ‘2.0’ was postponed from Deepavali 2017 to January 2018. it may be recalled.
Shooting for the movie came to an end recently and post-production works are now on in full swing. The film produced by Lyca features Rajini, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in key roles.
Buzz is that the film is being made at a whopping budget of Rs 450 crore in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
