AAA Review by Naveen

Triple STRong

– Review

A big buzz was created right from the moment it was announced that Simbu has joined hands with director Adhik Ravichandran of ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ fame. For, both the actor and the filmmakers are known for controversies.

And now, their product has hit the screens and it has not disappointed those expectations. High on mass moments, ‘AAA’ is a treat for Simbu fans.

A don is being searched by cops in Dubai. In the meantime, we are introduced to one Ashwin Thatha (Simbu), a stylish and energetic old man.

Ashwin Thatha is none other than Madurai Michael, a gangster who lived in Madurai in the early 1990s. He falls in love with a beautiful girl (Shriya Saran).

And when he tries to reforms for her, his boss plots against him and he lands up in jail. After some time, he escapes from the prison and gets vanished.

Cut to the present, Ashwin Thatha, in the company of his friends, wants to marry a young woman and comes across one (Tamannah) who runs a home for elders. Who is Ashwin Thatha, what is his link with the Dubai don and is he able to marry the young woman?

Simbu proves why he is still in demand after so much controversies and criticism around him. For, he delivers a solid performance and it must be electrifying for his fans. Shriya has got a meaty role and does well, while Tamannah has been wasted.

The film has many mass moments which will sure be enjoyed by the fans of Simbu. Music and cinematography add pep to the proceeedings.

‘Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan’ is definitely a ‘satisfying meal’ for die-hard fans of Simbu. And what more? The film will soon have a second part too, as assured by STR during the climax.

On the whole, ‘AAA’ is a STRong show.
