Director Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirunthal has now been re-edited with around 15-20 minutes chopped off to make the film tauter. The new cut will be used in theaters from Tuesday. The cut portions also includes Mehreen Pirzada’s scene which have been completely cut. Talking about the decision, “We had edited it in two versions right from the start. We had added a few parts for commercial reasons.” He further added, “I sincerely apologise to Mehreen for this. She had worked with us for 15 days.” Notably, this was Mehreen’s debut in Tamil. The upcoming actor is considered as a lucky charm in Telugu where two of her latest movies Mahanubhavudu and Raja The great were big hits.

The position of the interval, a few scenes at the end of the movie and romance scenes at the start have been axed. While Nenjil Thunivirundhal is a bilingual, the changes have been made only in Tamil. The film has been released as Care of Surya in Telugu. “There are many films like Kushi and Veyil which have done this. Nenjil Thunivirunthal was released on November 10.

Notably, this is Suseenthiran’s tenth film. The music has been composed by D.Imman. The film is a story that revolves around friendship and how a series of events affect that equation.
