It looks like actor-filmmaker Ramesh Aravind will direct the southern remakes of Bollywood hit movie ‘Queen’ and Kajal Aggarwal will likely play the lead role.
Ramesh Aravind has said that he will be completing the Tamil and Kannada versions within 120 days.
Sources said, “Kajal has been approached for the film. Presently, she is not in the country, and will finalise things once she’s back.”
‘Queen’ is a 2014 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, and Madhu Mantena.
The film stars Kangana Ranaut in the lead role, with Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao playing supporting roles. The film tells the story of Rani, an under-confident Punjabi girl from New Delhi who embarks on her pre-planned honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam by herself after her fiancé calls off their wedding.
